Compared to plastic alternatives that directly wrap onto the column itself, this all-steel construction barrier stands away from the column, allowing for greater strength and durability, while eliminating any energy transfer or energy impact to the building structure.
How it works: During a collision, the energy of the impact is progressively absorbed by an elastomer in the base of the bollard. The posts tilt slightly with impact and then return upright, leaving the guard intact and ready to perform again.
