Drum Wrenches, Sockets & Tools
Sylvester’s offers all types of Drum Wrenches, Sockets & Tools for all of your drum needs. Specialty Bung Nut Wrenches are available in cast steel with polished zinc finish, non-sparking aluminum or non-sparking bronze alloy to meet many applications. These multipurpose drum tools not only open and close drum bungs or plugs, and they also work as a bung wrench, ring wrench and faucet wrench all in one! Wrenches are universal in which they fit all types of industrial drum plugs and bungs in metal or plastic. The angled handles on model BNW-I-W and BNW-B-W protect knuckles in most positions. Drum Trucks – Hand Brake – Powered & Non-Powered
Standard Drum Hand Trucks are available in 2- or 4-wheel models and are the perfect solution for transporting drums or barrels throughout facilities or on the go. The heavy duty construction has continuous solid welds for superior durability. Drum trucks have a 1,000 lb. load capacity and are easily maneuvered using the rubber grip twin handles or the full loop handle.
The optional Hand Brake gives the operator added control of heavy loads and on uneven surfaces (on select models). Efficiently load, transport and store various drums with ease. The Hand Brake is a great safety benefit.
Powered Drum Hand Trucks are designed for safety by taking the manual effort out of drum handling. This battery powered drum truck effortlessly balances your 30 or 55 gallon drums (steel, plastic, and fiber) on 4 wheels and has an 800 lb. capacity. The hand brake gives the operator added control of heavy loads, in tight quarters, and on uneven surfaces. Efficiently load, transport and store various drums throughout facilities or on the go.
Hydraulic Drum
Dumpers
The Hydraulic Drum Dumper is what you need to dump drums that weigh up to 1,500 lbs. Works with 55 and 30-gallon plastic, steel and fiber drums. The unit has a solid steel chute. Portable units have two rigid and two swivel casters with floor lock screws. All steel construction. Upper travel limit switch, emergency safety velocity fuse in cylinder and vertical adjustment drum restraints are standard. Dumper is operated with a handheld control on a standard 8 ft. long coil cord. The frame is powder coated blue, while the chute powdered coated yellow for added toughness.

Portable Hydraulic Drum Carrier / Rotator / Booms
This product allows one person to lift, transport and dispense fully loaded 55 gallon steel drums with ease. It features a manual foot pump hydraulic lift and rolls on 5″ rear swivel casters and 8″ front rigid wheels. There is a hand crank on the 60″ model and chain rotation on the other models to rotate the drum 360 degrees. All models feature a boom attachment which mounts on the outriggers. Optional power units available. Additional Plastic and Fiber Drum adapters and upgrades are available.

Drum
Crushers
Crushes 55-gallon steel drums to approximately 6″ high and resets automatically to crush another drum. Full cycle time is 25 seconds (crush and retract). This unit is designed for an intermittent duty cycle that will allow for crushing or compacting up to 250 drums per week in a typical non-hazardous, indoor room-temperature environment when operated on a three-phase power supply. Capable of 38,000 pounds of crushing force. Crushing feature will work with any drum size up to 55-gallons.
Safety features include a pressure relief valve, which prevents overload, and a double door latch to secure the door when crushing. Plus an interlock system that will prevent the motor from running unless the door is closed. 6.5 hp motor, 3-phase, 60 hz, choose from 208V, 230V or 460V Meets OSHA 1910.212 and ANSI Z245.5 standards. Built-in fork pockets aid in transporting. Aluminum drip pan, for catching any excess liquid that may be expelled during the crushing operation.
Drum Carts
Designed to rotate a 55 gallon steel drum from the vertical position to the horizontal position so their contents may be emptied. Equipped with rollers for mixing. Includes a built-in drip pan to provide a clean, safe work floor. Rolls on two (2) 3″ swivel casters and two (2) 5″ rigid casters. Simple one-person operation. Steel construction.

The DD-9 and DD-9-NS can be adjusted to open steel drums with different thicknesses. The blade is angled for maximum penetration and flattens the cut edge so there are no sharp or jagged edges.
